Description: SIGLEC15 Antibody: Siglecs are vertebrate cell-surface lectins that recognize sialylated glycans and are involved in many physiological processes, such as glycoprotein turnover, cellular trafficking, and pathogen recognition. Most Siglecs are expressed on cells of the immune system. SIGLEC15 is a type-I transmembrane protein consisting of two immunoglobulin (Ig)-like domains, a transmembrane domain containing a lysine residue, and a short cytoplasmic tail. SIGLEC15 can interact with the activating adaptor molecules DAP12/10. Its activating signaling potential and unique preference for glycan recognition implies that SIGLEC15 may be involved in the immune surveillance of tumors and probably plays a conserved, regulatory role in the immune system of vertebrates.

Description: CX3CL1 Antibody: Chemokines are a family of proteins associated with the trafficking of leukocytes in immune surveillance and inflammatory cell recruitment. They are classified based on the positions of key cysteine residues. CX3CL1 is a CX3C chemokine known to induce adhesion and migration of leukocytes mediated by a membrane-bound and soluble form respectively. Recent experiments have shown that CX3CL1 can suppress the production of nitrous oxide, interleukin-6, and TNF-alpha in activated microglia and neuronal cells, suggesting that it may act as an intrinsic inhibitor against neurotoxicity by activated microglia. Its receptor, CX3CR1, also functions as a co-receptor for HIV-1 and HIV-2 envelope fusion and virus infection, which can be inhibited by CX3CL1.

Description: BRCA1 (Breast cancer type 1 susceptibility protein) is a nuclear phosphoprotein that plays a role in maintaining genomic stability, and it also acts as a tumor suppressor. The encoded protein combines with other tumor suppressors, DNA damage sensors, and signal transducers to form a large multi-subunit protein complex known as the BRCA1-associated genome surveillance complex (BASC). This gene product associates with RNA polymerase II, and through the C-terminal domain, also interacts with histone deacetylase complexes. This protein thus plays a role in transcription, DNA repair of double-stranded breaks, and recombination. Mutations in this gene are responsible for approximately 40% of inherited breast cancers and more than 80% of inherited breast and ovarian cancers. Description: EpCAM is a transmembrane glycoprotein involved in a number of cellular processes including adhesion, proliferation, maintenance of stemness, migration and invasion.<sup>3</sup> It is expressed on most, but not all, normal epithelia and their corresponding malignancies. Although its role in tumorigenesis remains to be fully elucidated, it may downregulate immunity and help tumors actively escape from immune surveillance. It has been recognized as a pan-carcinoma antigen marker because of its widespread expression on epithelium and their derived tumors.<sup>1 </sup>Its antibody is widely used to help distinguish epithelial from non-epithelial neoplasms. Its positive tumors are epithelium derived, whereas negative tumors can originate from either nonepithelial or epithelial tissues. Its antibody has also been used for identifying circulating tumor cells. Its expression may be upregulated in tumors and overexpression can most pronounced on tumor initiating cells.<sup>2 </sup>Overexpression may be an indication of early malignancy and correlate with a poor prognosis.

Its epitope maps between aa65-to-aa80 of the alpha1 domain of the HLA-A.
